Anthropic Reportedly Agrees To Pay Google $200 Billion For Chips and Cloud Access

Anthropic has agreed to pay Google $200 billion over the next five years for chips and cloud access. Deals with Anthropic and OpenAI responsible for revenue backlog of $2 trillion across Amazon, Google, Microsoft and Oracle. Previous projections: server costs in 2026 could reach $45B for OpenAI and $20B for Anthropic. NVIDIA made its own investments into OpenAI (up to $100B for 10 gigawatts of AI data centers). RAM shortages expected to continue.
